The MyHelp platform and app (referred to as platform) is
developed to provide a digital solution to support therapists,
counsellors and others (collectively referred to as
practitioners) provide a service to individuals. The clinical
decisions are wholly made by the practitioners with no
involvement by MyHelp. As MyHelp is not involved in any clinical
decision making or review it is unable to take any
responsibility for the clinical work provided. Consequently, all
clinical care remains the responsibility of your practitioner.
Nonetheless, the platform was developed with clinical input from
Kirren Kaur, a qualified CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
therapist registered with the BABCP (British Association of
Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy). The role of Clinical
Safety Officer is undertaken by Kirren.
The platform has been externally reviewed and is being used by
Dr Michael Townend, Associate Professor at the University of
Derby also an accredited CBT therapist registered with the
BABCP.
Several organisations are piloting the MyHelp platform including
Rest Easy, a company offering mental health and well being to
children within schools. Various individual therapists are also
currently testing the platform the findings of which will
shortly be available.
